Tenth Judicial District - Evan has been a domestic mediator in
Kansas’s Tenth Judicial District since 1995, and serves as the
supervisor for its clinical mediation programs. His mediating
experience began informally as a chaplain, and later with the
Wichita Neighborhood Justice Center.He is Past President of the
Heartland Mediators Association and a member of the Standards/Ethics
Sub-Committee of the Kansas Office of Judicial Administration’s
Dispute Resolution Advisory Council. He is an “Advanced
Practitioner” of the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR). He
is approved by the Kansas Supreme court for core, domestic, civil,

Roxanne
Emmert-Davis, LMSW -
Roxanne has a private practice of mediation and training in Topeka,
Kansas. She has served as a social worker, mediator and
educator in the child welfare field for over 20 years. Roxanne
provides training in mediation and child welfare issues, including
conflict management, team building, family group decision making,
communication and engagement skills. Roxanne is co-author of
Choices: Workshop Leaders Guide, a curriculum for professionals who
work with adolescents. She participated in piloting and
development of a statewide initiative for Child in Need of Care
Stakeholders groups for Kansas judicial districts and currently

Negotiation at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. He received his MA in
philosophy of education and BA in philosophy, both cum laude, from
Tel-Aviv University, Israel. For the past three years, Ran has been
a Visiting Researcher and an Associate at the Program on Negotiation
at Harvard Law School, where, among other research projects, he
helped redesign and teach the Harvard mediation course, a joint
course for law and MBA students. In his research and teaching, Ran
explores relational aspects of conflict engagement and aims to

transformation of adversity into dialogue through mediation,
